Microblading In Kelowna
Treat your brows by visiting Kelowna’s premium microblading studio. At Lesage Cosmetic Tattoo we highlight your natural beauty with permanent makeup artistry.
Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo method used to create the impression of fuller eyebrows. With this technique an artist can create almost any appearance: from a very natural light finish to a full and luscious brow.
Manual microblading involves using small, fine-point needles (instead of a tattoo gun) that comprise of a little disposable blade and deal with (think: a very small rat-tail comb-looking tool) that helps to scratch and deposit pigment simultaneously under your skin.
The process is very precise thanks to the tool that is used which is like a pen with a nib on the end. A nib is a sloped blade with 10-12 little needles at the end – needles that do not permeate the skin but simply delicately scratch the surface, much like a paper cut.
The extremely fine needles carefully implant featherweight ink strokes with a medical grade pigment on the epidermis layer for the skin, creating great, realistic and lifelike hair strokes.
The cool thing about microblading is that you can have absolutely no brows, blonde ultra-faint brows, or just need a little aid filling your arches in. either way, if you come into our studio we can produce the appearance of naturally complete, timeless-looking eyebrows. We can even creates a custom ink or pigment that matches your natural brow color and utilizes several tones, so your eyebrows look multidimensional and very genuine.
Microblading is a special kind of artistry; a form of eyebrow architecture. It is all about developing the very best shape for each face; an completely custom design for each of our clients.
You should feel beautiful in your own skin. Our beauty salon in Kelowna uses permanent makeup to help you build confidence in your own skin to help you be your true self.
Process & Care Taking
The following precautions are recommended prior to your eyebrow microblading appointment:
- Avoid the use of skin thinners such as Vitamin A, glycolic acids, exfoliation on the eyebrow area 2 weeks before your appointment.
- Do not consume alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
- Avoid blood thinner medication and also vitamins and supplements such as aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin and fish oil supplements.
- Avoid sun and tanning beds for 30 days prior to and after your appointment.
- The following cosmetic procedures should be prior to your appointment:
- Botox or fillers: 6 weeks prior
- Eyebrow waxing: 2 days prior
- Eyebrow tinting: 1 week in advance
The complete healing process takes about 6 to 8 weeks; however, the visible top layer of skin should heal after 2 weeks.
After your eyebrow microblading procedure, minimal discomfort such as redness/tender skin may occur. The symptoms usually subside within 24 to 48 hours
3-5 days post treatment, your brow pigment will appear darker. This is normal, and your brows will lighten up in colour as they heal & once your skin has shed
During the healing period, minimal scabbing, flaking and dryness of the skin are normal after the first few days. To avoid loss of pigmentation, do not itch or remove scabs. They will naturally fall off on their own.
Not all eyebrow tattoos heal clean and crisp. Hair strokes for oilier skin types tend to heal more solid and powdery, while drier skin types heal more crisp and defined.
The longevity and final results of your microbladed brows will depend very much on how you care for them during the healing process, and also the level of care you give them once healed. Dry skin types tend to retain colour and clarity of line more so than oilier skin types. A second session is highly recommended to achieve optimal results. Results cannot be guaranteed.
$200 deposit is required upon booking your appointment. Cancellations and/or changes to scheduled appointment date must be made 72 hours prior to appointment
Yearly touchups with Lesage Cosmetic Tattoo are also recommended.
